When a disaster strikes you might not have access to food, water, or electricity for an extended period of time. These are some of the things that we must consider when we think about surviving a disaster.

What to include in your Emergency Kit

- List of Emergency Contacts
- Copy of Insurance cards
- Copy of Prescriptions
- List of Doctors’ numbers
- Local map to track storms on radio
- Battery powered weather radio
- Bottled water
- First Aid Kit
- Non-perishable food
- Can opener & scissors
- Basic toiletries
- Spare eyewear
- Gloves, hats, rubber boots, protective eyewear
- Matches or lighters
- Backup cell phone charger
- Bottles and items for small children
- Disposable dinnerware
- Store paper items, dry foods, matches & candles in air-tight plastic bags.
